Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is one of the biggest global public health challenges of our time. These infections cause significant mortality and put extememe pressure on health systems. Medical technologies, such as rapid AST, contribute to the fight by preventing, detecting, monitoring and managing both infections and resistance.

Dr Tiziana Di Martino
Tiziana Di Martino has served as Chief Medical Officer at Q-linea since April 2019. She has more than 18 years’ overall experience in clinical practice, research and medical/clinical affairs positions within the microbial diagnostic industry. Prior to joining Q-linea, she has served as Regional Medical Affairs Manager at Abbott Molecular, Clinical and Scientific Affairs Manager EMEA at Abbott Point of Care and Head of Clinical Development EMEA at Accelerate Diagnostics. In these roles she has successfully managed clinical projects related to new product launches.
She holds a MD degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome (2003), an MSc in Toxicology from University of Surrey (2011) and an MBA degree from London Business School (2014).
