The Society for Applied Microbiology supplied written evidence to the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee inquiry into Science Communication in May 2016. As a charity, SfAM has an objective to use its funds for public benefit. Much of the activity within this objective is in the field of science communication and public engagement with science.
