The Conference on Physiology of Yeasts and Filamentous Fungi (PYFF) is an international scientific event held every three years since 2001, bringing together researchers from academia and industry to explore the physiology, metabolism, genetics, and biotechnological applications of yeasts and filamentous fungi.
The ninth edition, PYFF9, will take place in Valencia, Spain, and will feature presentations on topics including fungal evolution and adaptation, pathogenesis, synthetic and systems biology, food and beverage fermentations, cell factories, sustainable production, and emerging tools in fungal biotechnology. The conference is sponsored by the Microbial Biotechnology Division of the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) and organised by the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA), part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
