The 2023 Basil Jarvis PhD Studentship, funded by Applied Microbiology International has been awarded to Naina Korotania from the University of Birmingham. Naina is poised to embark on a PhD at the Univeristy of Birmingham in February 2023, developing novel phage-based biopesticides to target cankers in four tree species.
