The University of South Florida and USF Health Morsani College of Medicine are seeking accomplished scientists to join the USF Institute of Microbiomes through an open-rank faculty recruitment.

USF is recruiting four well-funded investigators whose research will strengthen and expand the Institute’s work in areas including host–microbiome interactions, infectious diseases, immunology, cancer, metabolic disorders, and other emerging areas of biomedical science.

Successful candidates will lead innovative, externally funded research programs; publish high-impact scholarship; mentor students, postdoctoral fellows, scientists, and faculty; and contribute to teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration across USF Health. Faculty will also have opportunities to help shape the Institute’s scientific strategy, research priorities, faculty recruitment, and philanthropic partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity for established investigators to join a growing multidisciplinary community and help advance USF’s national and international leadership in microbiome science, translational medicine, and precision health.
