Sustainable Microbiology collaborates with the Microbes and Social Equity Network

The Microbes and Social Equity (MSE) network exists to advance microbiome science that addresses inequity in health, environment, and society. The MSE’s Microbiome Stewardship Research Team is collaborating with AMI journal Sustainable Microbiology, on a themed collection of articles, “Stewardship of Microbiomes in Human and Environmental Systems.”

Microbes and Social Equity

Founded in 2020, Microbes and Social Equity (MSE) is an AMI Research Network that brings together researchers, practitioners and community partners to explore how microbiomes intersect with health, justice and sustainability. MSE works across disciplines to promote a more equitable and inclusive understanding of microbial systems and their role in human and environmental wellbeing.
